The Complete Personal Training Course is the latest recognised fitness qualification in the industry, consisting of SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness + SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness

The SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness is the entry-level qualification that enables you to start working in the industry as a Group Fitness or Gym Instructor.

Online study with Vast will allow you to benefit from flexible, self-paced study with 24hr access through our online learner management system. All course materials, assessment items and relevant information are accessible electronically, meaning no lecture commitments to fit into your schedule or downtime from work.

Upon enrolment, you are allocated a Personal Assessor with who you can schedule an introductory call. We do this, so you get all the tips and tricks to successfully study online, plus meet the person providing feedback and assessing your work. This allows you to build a relationship with your Assessor during your study. Don’t worry, it’s not all via email, we also offer Live Virtual Support.

This means one of our Assessors is live on Zoom each day, ready to answer your question in a face-to-face environment.

As online fitness education specialists, we can help you start a career in fitness, no matter where you live in Australia.

The SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness and SIS40221 – Certificate IV in Fitness course have practical tasks that can be completed both at home and in a fitness facility.

Some practical assessments will be submitted by video through our online learning portal.

Other practical tasks will require you to use a fitness facility and a mentor to provide 3rd party evidence. The mentor must hold a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Fitness.

This allows you to complete your practical assessments at a time, in a place (this could be your regular gym, private studio gym, local PT, F45), and with a trainer that suits you.

It is the responsibility of the student to arrange a suitably qualified mentor and Host Facility.

There are approximately 24 hours of practical assessments that need to be completed with your mentor for the SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness

There are approximately 35 – 40 hours of practical assessments that need to be completed with your mentor for the SIS40221 – Certificate IV in Fitness.

These practical assessment hours are with direct and indirect supervision.

‘Direct Supervision’ is supervision that is provided by an experienced
Fitness Professional to you as a one-to-one type of supervision
while you take part in requirements for the course.

‘Indirect Supervision’ is accepted when you (the student) are within
the vicinity of an experienced Fitness Professional.

This means that your mentor can still be working whilst providing indirect supervision for some of the required tasks you will complete.

We offer Live Virtual Support. This means one of our assessors is live on Zoom ready to answer your questions in a face to face setting.

Our Live Virtual Support allows you to ask as many questions as you like without needing to book an appointment. Simply join the zoom meeting, get the help you require and continue with your study.

If you are studying late at night and have questions, you message your personal assessor who will answer within a 48hr response time.

Having a personal assessor means you always know who is getting back to you, allowing you to have a partner for the Complete Personal Trainer course journey.

All staff at Vast Fitness Academy are employed on a full-time basis. You are paired with your own personal assessor from start to finish.

We do not use sub-contractors to assess your work.

Once enrolled, you have access to all units and resources from the SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness. We do not lock your course units or tell you the order in which study must be undertaken. This method of assessing will slow your progress and have you waiting for assessments to be returned before you can move on to the next unit.

Our assessment method allows you to complete the SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness & SIS40221 – Certificate IV in Fitness as quickly and easily as possible.

You have 12-months to complete your SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness course.

From the date of graduation from the SIS30321 – Certificate III in Fitness, you have a further 12-months to complete your SIS40221 – Certificate IV in Fitness course.

Being self-paced, if you have the time to put towards study, we are here to support you with fast assessment marking from your Personal Assessor and additional Live Virtual Support.
